How to Get a Longer Warranty
It’s not really a secret, but most people do not know that when you buy a new construction home, you have to register your HVAC system yourself. If you do, you will get a much longer warranty!
Whenever we install new equipment we always register it for you, so that you can take full advantage of the warranty.
A 5-Year Difference!
If we do not register your equipment, you usually get a 5-year warranty. If we do register it, you often get a 10-year warranty on all parts, sometimes more!
When You Have To Do It
If you are buying a brand-new, new construction house, it is critical that you go online within the first 30 days and register your HVAC system to get the 10-warranty. You will have to do this yourself. If you don’t, you will still get the standard 5-year warranty; but we want you to get the best coverage you are eligible for!
To Register Your System Yourself
It’s easy for you to do this yourself. For example, if your new home comes with a Lennox system, all you have to do is Google “Lennox warranty registration” and enter your system’s serial number. The serial number is on the equipment itself and may be on your manual.
